If you are going to look at a Litter of Puppies

My suggestions for looking at litters of puppies and than deciding on your puppy is First thing :
1.Tell the Breeder you only want to see the SEX of the puppy that you have decided on.  So if you decided on a female ask them to please only have the females out..
2. Watch the puppies interact with each other, this way you can tell the shy from the fiesty
3. Sit down on the floor with the puppies and see who comes to you do not pick any up until they come to you
4. Do not rush into it, make sure the breeder realizes that you are going to take your time.

5. If you have your family with you than only allow one adult to sit down with the puppies , no children
6. If you decide that you dont like the attitude or color of a certain puppy ask the breeder to remove that one
7. Make sure that each puppy looks healthy, if one does not , than look otherwise
8. Once you have decided on your puppy  and you cant take it home ask how they will mark the puppy
9. Than make sure you sign a deposit contract or a contract
10. Make sure you get business cards or something that shows that your puppy will be there when ready to pick up.

Ok Now that you have choosen your Breed

Now its time to start doing your searching. Go on the internet and type in the breed of dog you are interested in.
There are many sites out there for you to look thru, Examples are AKC, CKC, Breeders.net, Puppyfind.com, K9sud.com,nextdaypets.com,and my site www.Beesntees.com There are other sites like Kijiji.com, your local classified ads, there are many sites to look thru.
Start emailing some of the sites that have your breed of Puppy, and wait for their response.

One of the things you need to decide is if the puppy needs to be registered somewhere, like AKC, CKC, or one of the other organizations. If you want a pure breed make sure the person is willing to show you the parents of the dog. Also, they should have a website, where you can look around to see some puppies that they have sold, see the parents on line, see a little about them. You dont want to buy from someone who just let two dogs have some fun and now they are trying to make some money.  Go to someone who has years of experience, someone who takes the time and treats this like a business, not a hobby. Go to their website, really look around, make sure

Thinking about Buying a Puppy

The first thing is it is very important for your family to sit down together and go thru some major decisions before looking for your new family member.
1. Do you have time to commit to a Dog? Walking, Training, Grooming, Loving
2. Can you afford a Dog? Food, Vet Care, Toys
3. Pick out what size? Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large
4. Pick out Shedding? Non Shedding, Little Shedding, Sheds a lot
5. Pick out Personality of your Breed? Good with family, Guard Dog, Aggressive, Laid Back
6. Pick out Who will be responsible for care of dog? Wife, Husband, children
7. Pick out what Breed is Good for you? Go to the internet and look around

What I am trying to get to is do not go online and start looking for a puppy, or see a puppy and say Oh I want one of those. Do your research first so that you know what you are getting into before you make a Huge decision of getting a dog..
Dont base it on the price, picture, or location.
